Induction motors are the most preferred electrical motor because of their low cost, reasonable size and low maintenance. Besides all these advantages, induction motors can be operated under many stresses such as, thermal, electrical, mechanical and environmental impacts.

High efficiency motors which obtained the losses minimizing in electric motors , can be made more efficient in terms of energy consumption and performance by using speed control drivers. Vector control methods have been begun using by the technological improvements in power electronic and microprocessor technology. In recent years, direct torque control technique is proposed in control of induction motor based on the basic principle of control that the stator flux and electromagnetic torque both at the same time.
In this study, the most widely used today, these three control method of asynchronous motor drives, by experiments and simulations carried out by applying on induction motor, high efficiency and standard, compared with the high efficiency and the standard induction motor.

Induction motors are used in many areas from the past to the present and in different fields with the development of technology has continued to be used. It is obvious that induction motors as an improvement to the efficiency in terms of energy saving would cause great benefit. In that context, induction motor manufacturers and designers are constantly trying out new methods to improve motor performance and efficiency. In this study, what would be the optimum diameter of the shaft in order to increase the efficiency of the induction motor were investigated.
