Sort order. I had this book standing in my book cabinet for a long time until I decided to read it. It was an okay story about life. I do however wonder how one should use this knowledge in life. It is nothing more than reading a quote here and there about dreaming. It did have nice dolphin drawings in it. And there for it will get 3 points. This book was a birthday present.
A book about dreams, personal growth, choises and life. Never give up your dreams! A simple and touching novel for both children and adults.

I saw a lot of myself in Daniel's dolphin peers, which was rather awkward. I find that the moral "follow your dreams" is unsupportable unless you are already primed to see the truth of it--much like a surfer can only catch a wave he is prepared to chase.

Therefore I understand and respect the 4 and 5 star reviews given to this title, and hope to get to a point where I am better attuned to the love and kindness central to Daniel's pursuit of his dreams.
A nice little story about the workings of life. Do never give up on your dreams, do more of what makes you have, keep moving regardless of age and always stay true to yourself. Nothing new, nothing revolutionary, but yet a fine and honest reminder. Amazing read. Everyone should read it. Amazing novel. Some of the statement are simply wonderful.
The meaning out of the book is easy, to realise it, much more difficult. To keep on dreaming is a much harder work then not to follow ready paths. Being end of 40, i did appreciate the passages about going on dreaming even in mid ages. It is probably true, that you start getting older when you are stopping dreaming. The journey continues when Daniel is to become dad. Great insight into fears and trills of a new stage in life.
Lovely written and as in the first book - a great fable. Highly inspirational pick and it helped me a lot on encouraging myself to move in the direction opted by myself and it is best gift I receive. Educated in a British High School, Sergio has been captivated from his early years by the ocean, having been born in a city that meets the sea.
This would influence him for the rest of his life, and put him in a journey he would have never expected: to become a writer.
However, the ocean was still his greatest love, and traveling gave him the opportunity to go surfing to places such as Central America, Mexico, California and Hawaii. After a brief stay in the country in which he was born, Sergio decided to migrate to Sydney, Australia, where he worked as a Sales Manager for a multinational company; however, he also managed to travel to the Southeast Asia and African coasts in search of the perfect wave.
After several years in Australia, Sergio took a sabbatical and travelled to Europe in search of the perfect wave. It was in Portugal, in a wonderful beach surrounded by pine forests called Guincho, that Sergio found the purpose of his life and a very special friend. After he returned to Sydney, Sergio self-published his book in Oz. This happened in His books have been published in more than seventy countries. Books by Sergio Bambaren. Related Articles.
