I am often appalled at the stories I hear of bad landlords. Some of the things they do or not do are just unconsionable. My husband has already been stung and we incurred a hospital bill because of it and we have an 18 month old son who constantly has scorpions around him in his play area and where he sleeps. What can we do? What can i do. I did ask manager each month about the bill. I need to break my lease what can we do.

I have a question about payment of utilities. I signed rental agreement stating that I have to make a tep account to pay my electric bill. But I got a notice yesterday that I have until today to make a simple bills account to pay for electric utility. I do not want to use this service and it was not in my lease.
I called another number, but the woman was unhelpful. I live in a apartment with neighbors upstairs and around me but the neighbors above me have been a problem since we moved in like banging walls stomping on the floor and I've complaint several time and have written complaints and they have retaliate and do the stomping and bang the walls much worse each time and this is being done real late hours of the night only when we are sleeping.
Things seem to be escalating more and more and making our living situation unbearable. For the past 8 months we have experienced flooding issues when it rains.
My landlord replaced the carpet but since it keeps flooding and now it smells awful like mold. I want them to bring in professionals as I have two children under 5 living in that room specifically that keeps flooding. They keep putting it off and the smell is unbearable. What can I do!? My refrigerator has not been working to keep my food cold. How long does the landlord have to repair?
I live in a condo complex. One of the other owners has been storing property in a storage bin which is not her own. She appropriated it when it went into foreclosure. The current owner wants that storage bin. The lock is still on and the woman a lawyer, by the way refuses to remove it. We moved in on may 24 on may 25 we tried contacting front office of refrigerator not working daughter in law went in to main office on a Monday they told her following Wednesday maintenance would be in 2 weeks later maintenance shows up says it needs freon another week passes still fridge not fixed all food now spoiled contract does say tenant responsible for kiss but doesn't say tenant responsible for loss if complex neglegent do I get reimbursed for food lost.
A tree in the apartment building parking lot fell over and damaged my car. Are the property managers responsible for the damage because of the tree?
They maintain the landscape. What do I do if I am being harrassed by my property manager? I sent my July rent on the 30th of June, the 8th my landlord tells me am late and to send rent and late fees.
I sent him an email telling him I had sent it since the 30th, no response. I sent him another one saying that I will resend the check again, no response either. Becouse it hasn't cleared. I asked him if he had gotten it and he said he would check and get back to me but no answer yet. I have no returned mail. Is it possible he wants to evict me? I have been in the rental house in AZ for more than 5 years. Now that I am leaving the landlord say's they are charging me late fee from past rent over the last five years.
Can they do this even thoe they never said or mention rent was late and there was not late fee asked for. But in the lease it does say there is a late fee if rent is late but has never told me rent was ever late or ever ask for late fee's before me giving my notice to leave.
He told me that I could actually get all the money I needed by using my home as collateral. I just helped my mother, age 89, deal with her Medicare HMO. Let us know how we are doing! Please take a couple of minutes to fill out our survey. State Bar of Arizona www.
